Though we’ve been talking about Virtual Desks for nearly the entirety of 2019, Chrome OS 78 is the first Stable Channel update to include this feature right out of the box without any additional steps necessary. Need to enable flag for gestures see: Chrome Unboxed

I installed the update on my Google Pixelbook and tested the virtual desktops and found that the gestures were not available. Reading further I learned gestures had to be enabled via a flag, which I set and restarted.
Updated to Version 78.0.3904.106 on 11/21/2019. Looks like this is mostly bug fixes.
