The main casualty of the great Crostini meltdown on my Pixelbook is a local copy of wiki, which I was using testing changes and keeping notes on my computer that I do not want published on the web.
Unfortunately, I did not back up this wiki. In the rebuild of Crostini containers I am considering creating a container that will only contain wiki and perhaps a few other tools.
I've changed my mind and I am going to install wiki in penguin so that I can using the Chrome OS backup to back up the wiki. I am going to follow the instructions in Laptop Server
I have successfully installed wiki in penguin. I forked a few pages from my public wiki. I manually copied the .wiki directory to my NAS using Krusader and I ran a Chrome OS Linux backup. I need to think of ways to automate this backup, which is a little different because I do not keep the Pixelbook on at all times like I do with some other devices.
