The TicWatch E3 launched on June 16, 2021. You'll find only one color option for the watch case, Panther Black, but there will be three color options for the silicone watch band — Black, Neon Yellow, and Ash Blue. The TicWatch E3 has a $199.99 launch price and can be found both on Amazon, Walmart, B&H, and Mobvoi's websites. Android Central ![]()
I bought the watch for a total cost of $158 after a discount from Mobvoi and the use of some credit card points, and I received by E3 on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. I ordered the watch direct from Mobvoi the previous Thursday.
The charger included with the watch has the two pogo pins and magnets in a small crescent shaped piece of plastic rather than a disk that lies flat on a table. Attaching the charger to the watch is not as simple as lying it on a disk like the Fossil Sport Smartwatch. I bought a replacement charger/stand
that does the job, but is made for the TicWatch Pro so the pins require the E3 to be attached horizontally rather than vertically.
I also bought a leather band to replace the silicone band that ships with the Ticwatch E3 and I find it much more comfortable to wear.
Mobvoi is creating confusion by changing the information they provide
about the Ticwatch E3 and Pro 3 show it has the Qualcomm 4100+ processor, which is slightly newer than the 4100. The plus indicates the inclusion of a co-processor for ambient display and a few sensors. Fossil's Gen 6 watches will have the 4100+. It looks to me like Mobvoi wants people to think their watches have the same capabilities as Fossil's. It's also possible that they will start including this processor in the new watches they make.
